A Testament to Quality: Heysea Secures Orders for Four 60-Foot Sailing Catamarans at Cannes
Following the signing of a 70-foot power catamaran during the show, Heysea Yachts has achieved another milestone at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, securing orders for four 60-foot sailing catamarans from owners in Italy, France and Spain.
The latest orders from some of Europe’s most established yachting markets represent another strong endorsement of Heysea’s products and demonstrate the growing interest in Chinese-built premium yachts among international owners.

The 60-foot sailing catamaran segment has long been shaped by established European brands such as Lagoon, Fountaine Pajot and Sunreef. For a Chinese yacht builder entering this mature and highly competitive segment, the challenge extends far beyond the product itself. Brand heritage, design aesthetics, sailing culture, construction quality and long-term ownership experience all play an important role in an owner’s decision.
The owners of these four Heysea 60-foot sailing catamarans come from Italy, France and Spain — three markets with deep maritime traditions and mature yachting cultures. In these markets, Heysea is being considered alongside long-established international brands and evaluated directly by experienced yacht owners.

For seasoned European owners, the decision to purchase a yacht is rarely based on a single feature. Layout, sailing performance, structural engineering, construction quality, equipment, finishing details and long-term reliability all contribute to the true value of a yacht.
The signing of these four new orders came after the clients had gained a deeper understanding of the product, experienced the yachts firsthand and made their own comparisons before ultimately choosing Heysea.
Built to Compete on a Global Stage
As a Chinese premium yacht builder, Heysea draws on the strength and efficiency of China’s advanced manufacturing ecosystem while applying international standards in design, engineering and quality.
The company’s objective is clear: to build yachts that can stand up to direct comparison in the international market — and to the demands of long-term ownership.
Years of continued investment in technology, engineering expertise, brand development and design are increasingly translating into recognition in mature international markets. More owners from Europe and around the world are taking a closer look at Heysea and choosing high-end yachts built in China.

In the past, the first challenge for a Chinese yacht brand entering Europe was simply to be seen. Today, Heysea is focused on something more meaningful: being chosen by experienced owners in mature yachting markets.
With a dedicated focus on superyachts and catamarans, Heysea combines bespoke yacht-building capabilities with an expanding range of series-built models, offering owners around the world a broader and more diverse selection.
At the same time, every high-quality yacht delivered provides another real-world validation of the company’s ability to compete internationally.
From the previously signed Explorer 35M and Asteria 116 superyachts, to the Vista 70 power catamaran ordered at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, and now four new 60-foot sailing catamarans, Heysea continues to expand its presence across multiple segments of the international yacht market.
Together, these projects are strengthening Heysea’s portfolio across superyachts, power catamarans and sailing catamarans, while further extending the brand’s presence among yacht owners worldwide.
Quality Speaks for Itself
Quality remains one of the most powerful answers in any market.
Internationalisation is not simply about bringing a product overseas. It is about earning the confidence of owners from different countries, cultures and yachting backgrounds — owners who, after understanding, comparing and experiencing the product for themselves, are still willing to make the same choice.
From China to the world, Heysea is showing more yacht owners what Chinese yacht building can become.
